Coconut Milk

Coconut Milk is something that I use regularly, & since I  made the coconut water…I may as well use the coconut “meat” to make coconut milk.

  • In muslin cloth or a clean cup towel, pour the contents of the Ninja into the cloth over a large bowl. This will allow all the milk to strain into the bowl.
  • Then, I like to take the coconut meat fibers that are in the cloth and put them back into the Ninja 2-3 more times. Repeating the process to get more milk from the meat.
  • Store in the fridge for up to 5 days.

Coconut Milk

I use coconut milk for several soups and curries that I make. I’ve never made homemade coconut milk before now, but it was always on my “to-do” list. Of course, I would need to learn how to make the coconut milk first.
That entailed watching several YouTube videos. Most folks use desiccated coconut to make their coconut milk. So, I was concerned about trying to make this milk using fresh coconut.

No Reason to Worry

There was no reason to worry about using fresh coconut to make this milk. It worked out so well, that I wanted to share it with you.

More Recipes

As soon as I have a bit, I will be adding one of my curry recipes and my butternut squash soup recipe here on the website. The coconut milk goes famously in these recipes.
“All she needs is a little time”, she says. HAHA
